Bronx Zoo

One of the largest metropolitan zoos in the world, home to more than 6,000 animals including the African Plains lions and the Congo Gorilla Forest. The Wild Asia Monorail and Butterfly Garden are highlights. A 15-20 minute walk from the New York Botanical Garden, making it easy to combine both into one day in the Bronx.
